There are a lot of sharks in Australia. Not a few numbers of people were killed by sharks. I’ll always remember the story of a young man who was surfing and paddled out to sea to wait for a big wave. He was just lying on his board when along came a shark and bit off half the board and one of his legs and then disappeared. That young man was lucky; at least his life was saved. Sharks can’t see very well; they are short – sighted. So if you’re in the water and you see one, the best advice is to keep still don’t move and it may not see you.
